PwC Heroes: From Zero to Triathlon Hero<\/h3>\n

How do you inspire an entire organisation to start living healthy? It\u2019s a question that many companies might ask themselves, especially in a highly competitive context. PwC is a market leader in its field of expertise, with demanding challenges and, consequently, the pressure that comes with it. That\u2019s why care is so important to them. Improving physical and mental wellbeing ensures sustainable growth. At Golazo Energy we believe that inspired people go further, so together with PwC, we set up a wellbeing strategy<\/strong>, consisting of three key programmes. One of those programmes was PwC Heroes: From zero to triathlon hero.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

Becoming a PwC Hero: A six-month Triathlon Journey<\/h3>\n

Sure, it\u2019s an ambitious initiative: transforming people from PwC Belgium into athletes able to complete an Olympic distance triathlon<\/strong>. A truly life-changing experience that promotes long-term healthy lifestyles. Not only to the participants, but also to the people they inspire. For our new athletes, the next six months looked like this:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Kick-off Camp<\/strong>: a two-day event including medical check, physical stress tests and workshops on nutrition and triathlon preparation.<\/li>\n
  • Ambassador Coaching<\/strong>: Weekly check-ins with professional coaches to adjust training plans.<\/li>\n
  • Group Training<\/strong>: Regular group sessions in swimming, biking and open water swimming.<\/li>\n
  • Intermediate Test Day<\/strong>: Midway performance tests to adjust training and measure progress.<\/li>\n
  • Final Event<\/strong>: All PwC Heroes compete in the Olympic distance triathlon, joined by alumni from previous editions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\t

    Racing towards physical and mental health<\/h3>\n

    Over three editions, the programme has transformed 90 PwC employees, not only physically but mentally as well<\/strong>. The high satisfaction score of NPS +67 translates in many of the alumni continuing in sporting events long after completing the programme. With the right support anyone can become a resilient athlete.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
